What is Strings for Hope?
Strings for Hope is a non-profit who takes recycled musical strings and makes them into wearable art in the forms of bracelets, necklaces and rings for both men and women.
Instrument strings are constructed using mixed metals making them non-recyclable in traditional manners, as a result they end up in landfills. The jewelry is made by women in transitional housing. We strive to provide all the artisans supplemental income, a form of therapy, and life skills.
We also support individual organizations which you can read more about under the Charities and Organizations page. We host events, projects, and campaigns yearly to aid those in need. We intend to raise thousands with each project and campaign. The sky is the limit to give back! You can buy a bracelet, attend an event, donate strings, volunteer, etc.
